The EK-Pro GPU WB RTX A5500 Rack Nickel + Inox is a single-slot water block for the NVIDIA RTX™ A5500 designed to fit FHFW server chassis. The Open Split-Flow cooling engine covers the GPU die, VRAM, and VRM and is particularly suited to multi-GPU setups where even coolant temperature distribution across all cards is required.
The block features a nickel-plated copper base and stainless-steel top, an integrated I/O plate, and a 45°-angled terminal block with two G1/4″ ports for integration with EK-Pro QDC kits. The retention backplate provides PCB rigidity and passive VRM cooling. NVLink connector compatibility is maintained.
Side-mounted standoffs ensure secure GPU mounting during chassis transport. EPDM O-ring sealing and pre-installed brass standoffs are included throughout.
Three design decisions worth calling out
Open Split-Flow for multi-GPU setups
The Open Split-Flow geometry produces even pressure distribution across the die contact surface. In multi-GPU manifold-fed setups, the block is designed to operate with reversed water flow where required, ensuring consistent coolant temperature across all cards in the chassis.
FHFW single-slot with NVLink clearance
The block fits a single PCIe x16 slot in FHFW server chassis. The integrated I/O plate and retention backplate maintain NVLink connector geometry, supporting dual-GPU NVLink configurations. Side-mounted standoffs prevent PCIe slot flex during chassis transport.
Pressure envelope
Working pressure is 2 500 Pa. Maximum rated pressure is 30 000 Pa in loops containing an EK-Pro Pump Reservoir Manifold, and 75 000 Pa in all other configurations. Figures are published at the supplier level.
