The EK-Pro GPU WB A100 Rack Nickel + Inox is a high-performance water block for the NVIDIA® A100 GPU in rack-mount form. The Open Split-Flow cooling engine covers the GPU die, VRAM, and VRM directly with low hydraulic flow restriction, making it compatible with modest pump setups in high-density rack deployments.
Construction uses a CNC-machined nickel-plated copper base and stainless-steel top with EPDM O-ring sealing. A 45° angled terminal block carries two G1/4″ ports for integration with EK-Pro QDC kits and manifolds. The retention backplate provides structural rigidity and passive cooling to the PCB VRM area.
A side-mounted standoff ensures secure GPU mounting during chassis movement — relevant in data centre environments where chassis are frequently transported between rack positions.
Three design decisions worth calling out
Open Split-Flow
The Open Split-Flow geometry divides the coolant path symmetrically over the die face before recombining it downstream, producing an even pressure profile across the GPU silicon, VRAM, and VRM zones. Low hydraulic restriction maintains compatibility with a wide range of pump specifications.
45° angled terminal · side-mounted standoff
The 45° angled terminal block positions the G1/4″ ports to route tubing within the rack chassis envelope. The side-mounted standoff provides a brace point that prevents PCIe slot flex during chassis transport — a practical requirement in data centre environments where servers are regularly moved between rack positions.
Pressure envelope
Working pressure is 2 500 Pa. Maximum rated pressure is 30 000 Pa in loops containing an EK-Pro Pump Reservoir Manifold, and 75 000 Pa in all other configurations. Figures are published at the supplier level and are consistent across the GPU water-block family.
