## Plasticizer-Free EPDM Soft Tubing for Maintenance-Free Loops

EK-Tube ZMT is a high-quality EPDM rubber tubing engineered specifically for liquid cooling loops in workstation and server deployments. Unlike most PVC and PUR tubing, EPDM does not suffer from plasticizer leaching – the chemical migration that causes deposits, blockages, and gradual flow restriction in conventional tubing over time.

The 9.5/15.9 mm (3/8" / 5/8") cross-section is a workstation-loop standard, compatible with EK-ACF and EK-Quantum Torque STC 10/16 series compression fittings. The matte-black finish hides routing imperfections and reads cleanly inside professional chassis. EPDM softness allows a tight bend radius for compact loops without kinking.

### Zero Maintenance

Plasticizer-free EPDM construction means no leaching, no gunking, and no flow restriction over the working life of the loop. Replace coolant on schedule; the tubing itself is essentially lifetime.

### Wide Coolant Compatibility

Compatible with all widely-used liquid-cooling coolants including the full EK-CryoFuel range, distilled water with corrosion inhibitors, and water-glycol mixes typical in enterprise deployments.

### Tight Bend Radius

EPDM softness allows tighter bend radii than equivalent PVC or PUR tubing, supporting compact loop routing inside dense workstation chassis without kinking or flow restriction.

### EPDM Industrial-Grade Rubber

EPDM is the same rubber chemistry used in automotive cooling systems and industrial process plumbing – chosen for its long-term stability and compatibility with corrosion inhibitors and biocides found in enterprise coolants. It does not contain the plasticizers that cause deposits in PVC and PUR tubing.

### 3.2 mm Wall on 9.5 / 15.9 mm Bore

The 3.2 mm wall provides the structural rigidity required to maintain the 5/8" OD under standard compression-fitting clamp loads while preserving inner-bore flow at 3/8". The wall is uniform along the length, which keeps the bend behaviour predictable for hand-routed loops.

### Matte Black, Non-UV-Reactive

Non-reflective matte finish hides routing irregularities and reads as a finished cable run inside a chassis. Non-UV-reactive, so the tubing stays optically neutral under any chassis lighting and does not introduce a colour cast into the loop.

## Fitting Compatibility

Designed for 10/16mm (3/8" / 5/8") compression fittings on standard G1/4" threaded ports. Verified compatible with EK-ACF and EK-Quantum Torque STC 10/16 fitting series, and with most third-party 10/16 compression fittings. The 9.5 mm inner diameter accepts standard 10 mm-class coolant flow paths without restriction at typical workstation flow rates.
