# One platform for the whole lifecycle

AI and HPC move faster than any infrastructure refresh cycle. In that environment the real risk is not buying the wrong GPU; it is routing a capital investment into an expensive dead end, a platform that locks you to one generation, one vendor, and one refresh price. The LM TEK 4U8GPU10KW is designed for the opposite: a risk-managed investment that maximises component freedom for the life of the asset.

A barebone platform: LM TEK supplies the chassis, the integrated cooling loop, and platform-level power. You specify the board, CPUs, GPUs, memory, and storage.

## Risk-managed capital, not a capital dead end.

The buy reason is the cooling; the stay reason is supplier independence.

### Freedom of a modest start

Begin with a two-GPU build on a platform already sized for eight. The first purchase is not a bet on the full end state.

### Freedom to upgrade flexibly

The same chassis and loop carry the build up to eight accelerators at up to 700 W per slot, in the same four rack units. Growth is a card, a water block, and a check against the published validation specs, not a new server; the silicon refreshes on your schedule, not a vendor’s.

### Freedom of easy sourcing

Standard EATX, SSI-CEB, SSI-EEB and SSI-TEB boards and off-the-shelf CPUs, memory, NVMe, and NICs mean multiple vendors per configuration. A long lead time on one part resolves by specifying another.

### Freedom of simple replacement

Every part you populate, from the board and CPUs to the GPUs, memory and storage, is an off-the-shelf enterprise part with more than one source. The chassis, cooling loop and power distribution are LM TEK’s own, serviced by LM TEK. No compute component is proprietary, so none can hold the platform hostage.

The same chassis carries a configuration from a two-GPU entry build to eight accelerators at up to 700 W per slot (platform envelope); single-socket to dual-socket is a board choice; standard EATX, SSI-CEB, SSI-EEB and SSI-TEB boards mean multiple vendors per configuration, so a long lead time on one board resolves by specifying another. CPUs, memory, NVMe, and NICs are off-the-shelf enterprise parts, sourced and refreshed independently.

Validate new populated configurations against the current specifications and block availability. Standard board formats and open-market components keep sourcing and replacement choices available.

## Two years, worldwide, from handover.

The barebone platform carries the LM TEK limited two-year warranty, valid worldwide and running from handover. Service and spare parts stay available for three years after the warranty ends.

The populated components carry their own manufacturers’ terms; confirm system-level support with the supplying partner.

## Buy through a system integrator partner in your market.

Partners specify, integrate and support the populated system; LM TEK supplies the platform and the engineering behind it.
