# A European engineering company, built around hard problems.

LM TEK designs and manufactures the hardware that sits underneath commercial AI deployments, research computing, and specialist technical workloads. We engineer, we manufacture, and we stand behind the result. The work is patient and the surface is quiet.

## Key facts

- HQ: Slovenia, EU
- Engineering + manufacturing: In-house
- Sister brand: EK · consumer cooling leader

## Building on the shoulders of giants.

LM TEK draws on the legacy and engineering expertise of EK, our sister brand. EK practically created the category of high-end liquid cooling for PC enthusiasts and the custom workstation market.

The science behind the products is the same, and LM TEK strives to leverage that knowledge to serve customers in the business, enterprise, research, and specialist engineering sectors.

Drawing on shared heritage and local EU manufacturing, LM TEK brings 20 years of experience to emerging market needs in business workstation and high density compute environments.

## Engineered and built in Slovenia.

Our Slovenian facility runs the full process: design, production, assembly, and testing. European supply chain, with documentation assembled for customers whose procurement requires it - including public sector and regulated industries.

### In-house engineering and design

In-house design by engineers works hands-on with internal manufacturing and largely local partners.

### Assembly and testing

Testing in-house allows for quick turnaround without sacrificing on quality.

### Provenance documentation

Manufacturing origin, component sourcing, and compliance artefacts available for public sector and regulated-industry procurement.

## Diverse system and component engineering expertise

### Mark Tanko — CEO and Partner

15 year industry veteran, formerly CEO of EKWB, VP of custom cooling division, and VP of global component marketing at Corsair.

### Simon Šikovec — R&D Lead

10 years of thermal engineering leadership at EK, cooling the most demanding hardware computer components and developing custom solutions for industrial customers with specific requirements.

### Fedja Hvastija — Marketing Director

Enterprise and technology marketing leader with a long background in technical marketing in system integration and PC components.

## Operating principles.

### Engineering-first

We're here to fill the gaps that need filling. We say what the hardware will and will not do. We prefer a harder conversation now to a support ticket later.

### Selective, not scale-driven

We take the work we are engineered for. We decline the work we are not. Scale is a consequence of fit, not a target.

### European, by engineering choice

The supply chain is local where possible and European as the first alternative, because it lets us hold the tolerances, the documentation, and the relationships we depend on.
